Enjoying the Florida Weather

We have started to settle into the warm weather here in Stuart, Florida. It has been warmer than normal
( low 80's ) and we still need some AC in the condo.

Sandra is quilting and I have found a few projects around the condo including a little painting.
Boater's World did not need me this year, so I once again unemployed!!!!!

Punches should be snug in her winter cover back in Virginia and I do actually miss having the boat around to play with.

Punches Stays in Virginia for the Winter

We will not be taking our trawler down to Florida this winter. She is on the hard at Yankee Point Marina in Lancaster, VA. Before heading for Florida by car I rebuilt the upper rudder assembly which had developed some play. I also replaced a below the waterline valve that was leaking.

The real fun was building a full frame on the boat and then putting on a large custom canvas cover on the boat. It took four of us to get the cover up and over the boat. It is now all snug for the winter.
